Our monthly drabble challenge has a difference now: post a drabble and get a ribbon! We are honoring our drabble authors with a 'featured' ribbon for the first month after the challenge closes, and a red 'past featured' ribbon after the next challenge closes. This will be a permanent honor for those of you who entertain us with those delightful 100 word snippets.
Don't know what a drabble is? Think of it as a mini story, or 100 words with a punch line. The current prompt is listed on the home page every month, and check the Message Board on the Drabble forum for details. You can but are not required to notify us there that you've posted. Everyone can play--it's a great way to start writing as well as an exercise in being concise for established authors.
A double drabble is 200 words, a triple drabble is 300, and we do allow those; anything larger is a ficlet. You can link several drabbles, as long as each section can stand alone. Try it-it's fun!

Our authors welcome feedback; it helps to know what works and what does not. The ratings alone aren't much clue-a little note with the stars makes a difference. Leave a rating-and a note about why.
Another feature we haven't been using much is that we can leave answers to news items.

Validation has been turned on, as an efficient way to enforce the ToS and Submission Rules.
So if you notice that your fic doesn't show up in the Most Recent fics list, it means that it's in a queue, expecting to be reviewed by one of the mods or Administrators.
While we'll try to be diligent and validate everything as soon as possible, there is a possibility of delay.
Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

We are glad to inform that we have finally completed the move.
There were some problems with a few updates though and we apologize. We deeply regret the inconveniences. It seems that as we locked the archive to prepare for the last step of the road, the changes hadn't propagated fast enough before the databases were moved and a few chapters were lost.
The problems are now fixed, so you can update and publish new stories trusting with complete confidence.
However, if you notice any bug that had escaped our radar, please do not hesitate and contact us ASAP at admin_pds@pommedesang.com .
Thank you for your patience and continuous support.

We continue to have some sporadic misfires with the server change. Please bear with us as we migrate. It should not be an issue after today.
Every story, review, member and author information is intact.
